they'l get u when u least suspect it...this is the main route to the L.A. county fair... I'm one of those people who grew up in the pre-seatbelt law era & to this day have an aversion to wearing a seatbelt, not to mention I don't believe they always protect us (& sometimes actually make things worse) ..let alone the fact that seatbelt laws are unconstitutional ...nonetheless they are a BIG CASH COW for cash-strapped municipalities..& an EASY CASH COW ..(much easier than speeding tickets..u don't even need a radar..don't need to make sure the radar gun has been calibrated, etc..u just sit & wait & watch..sooner or later somebody will drive by w/o a belt on..its inevitable..I almost didn't pull it on this morn..but LITERALLY thought to myself ..this is seatbelt trap time..I sensed it..just a few moments prior to passing this motorcycle cop...talk about a 6th sense ..)..anyways, keep your eyes open & keep your belt on (not b/c it will necessarily protect you...& in fact it may make you a greater danger to others (ask me why|) ...but to save $150 to $200 bucks (that's the cost here in southen cal, aren't we lucky?)

9/28/11 ABSOLUTELY STUNNING: RAYS BEAT YANKS, O's BEAT SOX, RAYS R WILDCARD, SOX GO HOME

...stunning, incredible end of season...for the Rays it appears to be divine intervention...coming back from 9 games behind at the beginning of september to tie the wildcard race w/ one game left...then to fall behind 7-0 v YANKS...only to tie it up in the 9th & take it to extra innings...meanwhile redsox seemed to have a win locked up w/ a 3-2 lead in the 9th & 2 outs v Orioles...but lo & behold the O's get a double & another double & another hit..& they beat the Red Sox, sending them home for the season...& back at Tampa Bay..the rays get a run in the 12th to WIN ..& take the wildcard...unbelievable..

...I thought rays were surely out of it when I saw 7-0 ...the next thing I knew (from my online MLB alerts on my handheld device) was the rays were trailing 7-6 bottom of 8th...next thing I knew it was 7-7 9th inning..now its 11th inning... meanwhile, redsox are leading orioles 3-2 in the 9th inning no outs ...this is the MOST SUSPENSFUL incredible wildcard chase...! if the rays beat the yanks after trailing 7-0...I have to wonder if there is some sort of divine intervention going on here..& from 9 games back at the beginning of september...crazy ...! knock on wood

...I go on this social website called IMVU every now & then..its ALL animated..you choose an avatar..u can change clothes,,,add rooms..& have dialogue w/ others...its kind of fun...but sometimes it gets seedy..occassionally I've gotten "sucked in" & went with the flow (but only to the extent that I wanted to be a witness to Christ but didn't want to appear "holier-than-thou"...nonethelss sometimes u must simply terminate a conversation when the other person seems hell-bent on being "deviant")..in this particular case I don't even remember the exact conversation...but typically I say hello..how are you..& often take them to my yellow light-filled church ...& I also have a beach, & a magic carpet..among other things...I often say "Jesus Christ is Lord"..etc ...this person,however, apparently doesn't like me for talking about Jesus..in her comments she says "I find your profile picture quite blasphemous...you insist on comparing yourself to Jesus..." ..well, my friend, as we grow in faith & grow in Christ, YES we do become more like Jeus Himself..we are "In Christ" & Christ is "in us" ...a lot of people misunderstand the notion of Christian "humility" to think we are "bad" people in Christ...sure, we r sinners, but as long as we r not continuing in our sin, we r growing in Christ, better than a LOT of people..not self-righteous, just good...she goes on to to say "I do not appreciate ignorace..." & again my "avatar is blasphemous..." .my avatar is a picture of me on the cross...that's NOT blasphemous, its respectful..we will ALL be crucified as Christians..& are being crucified daily..albeit not literally on a cross..the Bible makes it clear we will be persecuted as Christians..& God knows I surely have been..its a shame when people such as Ariana persecute us even more..she calls herself a "true follower of God"..but what about Jesus ? Is she Jewish ? I did nothing wrong..but yet she hates me..

9/26/11 FOOTAGE Of PRESIDENT OBAMA BEING HECKLED @ HOUSE of BLUES

9/26/11 TALK ABT CARMAGEDDON, LIVE BY HOUSE OF BLUES, OBAMA TONIGHT ..

...this is sunset blvd right by house of blues where obama will be tonight...no parking at all on sunset from noon to 10pm ..police are already on the scene..hazardous material truck just in case....news crews...this is going to be a NIGHTMARE 4 the average commuter as they go home from work ..so why doesn't Obama drop in by helicopter ? and from house of blues he heads to a trendy west hollywood restaurant...I think its called "fig & olive" or something like that ..$18,000 per plate ..I think this will make "carmageddon" look like a nice day (actually carmageddon turned out to be a nice weekend with less traffic than usual around town)...anyways, the heat is on Obama now as republicans continue to jostle for his position in 2012 ..and obama took some shots at the black community as well...telling them to "stop complaining" among other things (that took some guts actually, considering the black community has been so supportive of him & helped him win the election...but u see I don't think Obama respects the black community just for voting for him because he's black..that's not much respect for him either...I wouldn't want people voting for me just because I'm "white"..I would hope people see beyond the color of my skin..& that's a big problem fr some people..I know some black people around L.A. see me solely as "white" & immediately treat me poorly because of it..(I sometimes wonder why my ancestors sacrificed their own lives for the north in the civil war if some blacks think all whites are bad, are racist, are ALL tea party racist republicans, etc...even Herman Cain said the tea party isn't racist..he was speaking to morgan freeman.. ...american people have to start focusing on the issues..the facts..the solutions,,not race or skin color ..but ideas that work along with ideology that is based on something substantive..(which for me is Jesus Christ) ...once we put ALL our weight on the ROCK (jesus) we will be amazed HOW FAR we can go..even so far as to WALK ON WATER ..I don't like partisan politics ..but it may be a necessary evil until we all agree on Christ and what Christ wants...& there are a few non-negotiables, including right-to-life (for the unborn) ..iif we can reverse roe v. wade a lot, if not all, of our social problems may be reversed...we must also be strong & courageous in speaking out about God's intentions for man & woman...not man & man, not woman & woman...but MAN & WOMAN ..its fundamental..get back to the basics..this will also reverse the curse (of hiv aids )....our REAL HOPE is not obama, nor actually any politician, but rather repentance, humility & redemption in Christ..every person needs this daily...in fact I think we r waiting for the liberals to realize this..how long it will take I do not know ..I pray very soon for God's sake & ours

WOW ! MY CHILDHOOD TEAM, the LIONS, R SHOWING SOME PROMISE...

...for the first time in how many years ?! how many decades ? ...I was born in grand rapids, michigan in 1967 & like most michigan kids we root for our home state team ..grand rapids isn't very close to detroit (actually closer to chicago) but I still rooted for all detroit teams, including the lowly lions..and they regularly disappointed us every year without fail ...even more so the last few years..so much so that I haven't even paid attention to them for many years now, not just because I'm in los angeles instead of michigan, but B/c they are the inevitable "bad news...lions" ...I remember a few highlights..billy sims ...a brief glimpse of hope from eric hipple...but that's about all I can think of ..its been so long..and now they are off to a 3-0 start, with an overtime win v Vikings....is this the year for the Lions? is there real hope this time ? or r lions fans in for another bigtime letdown ? most lion fans are probably thinking "WHEN...?" when will the letdown begin ? that's how much (or little) faith the lions have instilled in lion fans (notice I don't say "us" b/c I am NOT a diehard lions fan..I gave up on them a LONG time ago...so I tip my hat to those who have kept even a little hope..& have actually paid to go to some of the games...here's to YOU ..I hope the LIONS give u something to cheer about more than just a few games or a few good plays this year...u deserve something better...so LET'S GO LIONS...keep your heads up & play some REAL BALL ..for an entire season..U can do DO it, if u WANT to !

...for a lot of people these days, starbucks is not only a place to get a cup of coffee but also to sit down with the laptop & other electronics ...some people spend an ENTIRE day doing their work at 'bucks ...that's fine, BUT...CAN u please be CONSIDERATE to other people & NOT HOG ALL the PLUGS ?! this guy, for example, is NOT even using his laptop or phone(s) but is simply re-charging them...& he doesn't even have the courtesy to use an extension cord with multiple receptors...instead he NONCHALANTLY USES BOTH of the only two plugs available...sitting glibly, tapping his foot to the music...very happy with himself, ..apparently oblivious to the fact that I have a laptop on the table which I can't use until he UNPLUGS ...& I don't feel like asking him to DO THE RIGHT THING ..but I am ASKING ALL of you to join this campaign to remind people to NOT BE PLUG HOGS ! Forward this to other people, give it 5 stars,,remind the world that we ALL have something to PLUG IN ...so don't be a PLUG HOG. ..use an extension..& plug all youur electronics into one receptor on the end of one cord..using only ONE PLUG at the coffee shop, library, and any other public wifi places ..show some citizenship ...
