they'l get u when u least suspect it...this is the main route to the L.A. county fair... I'm one of those people who grew up in the pre-seatbelt law era & to this day have an aversion to wearing a seatbelt, not to mention I don't believe they always protect us (& sometimes actually make things worse) ..let alone the fact that seatbelt laws are unconstitutional ...nonetheless they are a BIG CASH COW for cash-strapped municipalities..& an EASY CASH COW ..(much easier than speeding tickets..u don't even need a radar..don't need to make sure the radar gun has been calibrated, etc..u just sit & wait & watch..sooner or later somebody will drive by w/o a belt on..its inevitable..I almost didn't pull it on this morn..but LITERALLY thought to myself ..this is seatbelt trap time..I sensed it..just a few moments prior to passing this motorcycle cop...talk about a 6th sense ..)..anyways, keep your eyes open & keep your belt on (not b/c it will necessarily protect you...& in fact it may make you a greater danger to others (ask me why|) ...but to save $150 to $200 bucks (that's the cost here in southen cal, aren't we lucky?)
