11/16/09 CHURCH of VISITATION: 1) 1 maccabee , 2) Luke 18.35-43 cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” mercy on me!” 40 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God " MESSAGE: "sometimes we lack compassion in our lives..but when we sometimes see somebody with a 'terrible affliction' & suffering, 7 it brings a feeling in to you that you want to help, that's compassion. Compassion makes us real human beings....reach out..want to help, love,care...may not be the greatest reason...that people suffer...as you grow you will see people who need compassion..."
