8/1/11 UNBELIEVABLE: I'M SHOPPING 4 A CAR, & the GUY RUNS OUT Of GAS ...I met this guy named Jose @ a mcdonalds..he's pretending he doesn't know much English, but every now & then he gives it away that he does, in fact, know more english..but I go with his game & use my spanish..& we pull out of the mcdonalds parking lot..he's taking me for a ride in this little saturn I'm thinking about buying ..he says the car is good or "no problemas"...but then ..literally only a block away from mcdonalds the car starts shaking & shuttering & I'm thinking "What the ----?!" sounds like major problems..& the car stops running..he says oops, ran out of gas...only in los angeles ..so I get out of the car & walk back to mcdonalds ...he walks to a gas station w/ his gas can..I tell him I will call him tomorrow..should I give it a second look ? the price is significantly lower than similar cars..its a '97 ..a little damage on the drivers door..can't really tell too much more about it until I drive it myself ..
