...folks, this is your last chance to buy a classic old "woody wagon"...from an era when they used real steel & quality parts...a time when detroit was still truly proud of what they made ...this car still runs decently, not perfectly..body is still decent, not perfect..interior has seen its better days...I'm not trying to fool u...this is NOT a car in perfect condition, ..but its PERFECT for that sort of person who has an "eye" for this kind of vehicle ..I was in new york in '09 ..having driven this wagon across the usa & back ..I was parked by central park...& took a walk..as I was returning to my car a guy yelled from across the street & gestured..he wanted to talk to me ..turns out he was sent down by his "supervisor" to make an offer on the car..well, I wasn't ready to sell at the time..so I didn't even get into prices with him..& thought I would keep this car for a good long time..& would..if I was anywhere but california where smog requirements have become so stringent that I would have to put a LOT of money into it , to make it pass the smog test,..including possibly four new catalytic converters, among other things ..my other option is to move out of california, not a bad idea at all...& probably would if I didn't have people to take care of here..thus, if this car doesn't sell in a few days to somebody who likes to fix up old cars, ..who has time & a little money to play with..then it will be "dismantled" as part of the state of california's car "retirement" plan..they give us a few dollars to retire older cars that don't pass smog & need a significant investment to make them do so ..so here's your chance..fix it up..make it nice..& this car will be a "looker" again..you might be able to make some money on it or just keep & enjoy ..fold down back seats..I bought this car from an old hollywood producer of some sort..he mentioned a few movies he worked on "back in the day"..says he drove "execs" around the "backlot" in it ..some people call it the "brady bunch" station wagon ..has power windows, including the rear wndow (altho 2 of the windows need $50 motors) ..carried my dog in this car for several years so its got a little wear & tear inside but not too bad..but it could be re-upholstered...also has AC (disabled)..cruise control (not working), stereo w/ cd (just removed it, but will give it to u),...front & back speakers..even a "tow package" which I never used but it could pull a boat, camper, etc. rear door opens both ways (altho only 1 way at the moment)..it has a new (used) rear-end ..& the list goes on..but I will leave it at that for now..email me right here on youtube if interested..clock is ticking..
