...1043 am (pst)...ca,e to palm desert for the betty ford memorial service ...but this is as close as you can get until later this afternoon when they will have shuttles taking people to the church (St. margaret episcopal) for a brief last respect viewing ..for the public ..but the memorial service itself will be private, & 1st lady obama will be attending ...I myself grew up in grand rapids so I have a hometown connection to the fords ..and I also lived here in coachella for a few years..also attended the jerry ford memorial...
