@ the Indian Wells Tennis center.. where the shuttles will take us to the church for a quick walk by ...pay last respects ..similar to the President Ford memorial ..doesn't look as long as the president's line..definitely not as long as the president reagan line (I literally waited five hours ) ..less people here for betty ford, but its still early ..I'm glad I got here early.. lot of news cameras here ..on the way in a dude directing traffic stuck his head in my window..asked me my intentions for being here...told him I'm here for the betty ford memorial..mentioned being from grand rapids originally..he started talking about his dad..who he says "knew the fords personally..." mm hmm ..kept saying "my dad.." this & "my dad..." that ..well, good for your dad...he wasn't that young..had a lot of tattoos & I saw his motorcycle behind him..didn't seem like a political person ..he mentioned how great betty was at helping people..maybe that was hhis affection..maybe he had been to the betty ford center..possible..God be wth him ..as I pray for the ford family ..thanks for their contributions to our country..I said to the traffic guy "he should have been re-elected" ..he said "my dad tried to help him with tht too"..hmm..so who is your dad, my friend ? at some point in time u sop saying "my dad" & start saying "me" ..
