scientific american mag, jan 2011 , says that "extinct fish called placoderms that lived some 375 million years ago...were the first backboned creatures to copulate [I.e. to engage in sexual intercourse]and give birth to live young, rather than deposit their eggs in the water for external fertilization..." and suggests this was "a key survival advantage back in the Devonian [name of that alleged period in time] when the sea was thick with predators". This is beyond belief that science attempts to "figure this out"..or to think it can...it boggles my mind as a Christian not big on evolution..altho I believe in creationism...this they say was the "real sexual revolution" ...crazy..fascinating but crazy ...
