..I heard another talk show..that explained it ..in fact footballs * frisbees apparently always had been banned, but la county is now allowing footballs in certain designated areas (albeit apparently not frisbees). ..& I think they discussed that it is according to the discretion of the lifeguard ..I don't think they r going to be cruising the beaches looking for offenders to write tickets.., I tried to call & give my interpretation, but couldn't get thru
