...message by the priest @ 5pm evening mass...normally I try to do a verbatim of every homily on my keypad..but my phone went out..but I remember the opening line & the thrust of his message, in accordance w/ the scripture reading..the theme being that Jesus is NOT necessarily who we WANT HIM to be for us...but HE IS WHO HE IS & we must let Him speak for Himself accordingto His words & deeds rather than apply our (sometimes) misconceptions about Him..He's not a wind-up toy or a 5 cent bubblegum machine who will grant us our every wish at a moments notice...Let Him be the authentic Him & grow as the authentic U In Him ..
