I'm beginning orthodox christmas eve at a coptic church in west l.a., 8am. ..the difference in dates (december 25 versus january 7) is due to the slight differences between the julian versus gregorian calendar ..not so many people here yer, most people will celebrate christmas eve in the evening..this is one of the few churches that also has a service on the morning of orthodox christmas eve
