TOO MUCH TALK re "LAW ENFORCEMENT" @ RAY COMFORT's "DEEPER" CONFERENCE

...repeatedly, Tony Miano mentioned his experience in "law enforcement" & introduced Philip De Courcy as having formerly been in "law enforcement" in Ireland, &...then Alistair Begg's message was about "obeying the law" (ie simply being obedient to civil authorities)...it did NOT escape my attention that 3 of the 4 mentioned (comfort, begg, & decourcy) were all born in other countries (australia, england, ireland) & may have a bit of a conflict-of-interest in preaching a message of mundane "obedience" to civil authority without regard for larger injustices. I assume they would be opposed to the "occupy" movement. But at some point you have to question their zeal for Christ if they are opposed to any & all forms of protest for the sake of the Gospel or for simple forms of constitutional justice (apart from direct Gospel issues) ... mere obedience to civil law without regard for "deeper" issues of justice (both "of the kingdom" & otherwise) is almost anti-evangelical (and this was a so-called "evangelism conference", go figure)...
