la times reports that santo has been elected to mlb hall of fame..actually a little late..he had the stats to be elected a long time ago..why do they wait until he dies ?! santo was a 9 time all-star, hit 342 homers & had 5 gold gloves...he should have been in the HoF a few years after retirement, not a year after dying, what a shame..
