2 women walked into a bakery owned by a christian woman in iowa & inquired about a wedding cake ...the woman was the owner of the bakery & gave them some samples & they decided to order a cake...one of the women said she was the bride...& the baker asked "Oh, & is this your sister?" they responded, no she is the partner. it became clear to the christian baker that it was to be a lesbian, same-sex, wedding.. being Christian & feeling this is contrary to her faith she politely told the couple that she could not, in good conscience, make a cake for such an event & recommended they go elsewhere (&even provided some suggestions of places that would accommodate them)..now there's talk about possible legal action ...NOT FAIR? surely not fair. the Christian baker should be allowed to exercise a decision of Christian consscience in such regard...there's plenty of other bakeries that will accommodate them..
