11/24/11 LORD, HEAR MY PRAYER 4 THIS ELDERLY WOMAN ALONE, THANKSGIVING DAY

...I saw her as I was coming out of McDonalds around 7am, here in Manhattan Beach, CA..Her head down, all alone in the car,..I made a little noise to make sure she was just asleep, & she sat up, briefly,...then her head went back down...poor woman...probably a widow..no kids?...no family....this is los angeles where people don't necessarily care for eachother as they do in smaller communities...even at the mcdonalds you won't find people working there who think to themselves "Oh how sad, this poor woman all alone.." ..in a smaller town even the clerks have a sense of care & concern for others, but los angeles clerks are different, in general,..its more like "thanks, goodbye" (ie get outta here) ..yet all she can think of as a place to come to at 7am is mcdonalds so its better than nothing I suppose...even the catholic churches only have one mass on Thanksgiving at 9am ..what about senior centers ? I don't know enough in that regard, but them seniors are too "proud" to go to those places for comfort ..Anyways, GOD be with this woman..comfort her... & remember, folks, the holidays can be a great time for many, but also are a lonely, sad, time for some
