8/24/11 cblog R U A TRUE CHILD of GOD ? ;  callistus , fr broken english m: "friend helps a friend..sometimes we keep to ourselves..but not w / philip ...he found a man who..his ancestors..shared the news ..we could say that for...& others who share the common belief....can anything good come out of nazareth ? .come & see ..true child..what a compliment....under fig tree..siesta..lunch break..nathaniel [he says natha niel ] came to believe..look of jesus talking to peter..no longer called simon..u r peter the rock..look of jesus to peter changed his life..same jesus w/ philip & nathaniel..nathaniel went to india to proclaim good news ..died..skinned alive..jesus knows e/ of us..forgives r sins..today many retreats...like philip to nat "come & see" ...experience rship knowldge..follow jesus as nat did..how about us ? ..will jesus say "here is a true child"..

"The angel spoke to me, saying"Come here I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." "Philip found Nathanael and told him,"We have found the one about whom Moses wrote in the law, and also the prophets, Jesus son of Joseph, from Nazareth." Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him,"Here is a true child of Israel There is no duplicity in him." Nathanael said to him, "How do you know me?" Jesus answered and said to him,"Before Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree." Nathanael answered him,"Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel." Jesus answered and said to him,"Before Philip called you, I saw you under the fig tree." Nathanael answered him,"Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the King of Israel." Jesus answered and said to him,"Do you believe because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this." And he said to him, "Amen, amen, I say to you you will see heaven opened and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man."
