8/23/11 cblog OPEN YOUR HEART ; Ho Fam 815a, orange m: "...I hear ..say I don't want to be a pastor..deal w money..joke among pastors..worst thing u can do s change things around .....Jesus reminded disciplles..chided scribes& pharisees for lack of concern for poor disenfranchised..only worried abt money..putting heavy tithes on the poor who come to temple..its about fidelity ..mercy..jesus reminded us sometims we can be blinded ..to what's imp in the eyes of god..when I moved in w bishop brown..drive every day past planned parenthood..see people praying there..near 22 fwy..admire them for persistence and faithfulness ..once noticed...sb w rosary on windshield..cause of concern..times we don't live our faith..words jesus..scribes pharisees ..letter to thess ..ought to believe in good news of st paul ..not words alone but very lives..as nursing mother cares for her children..not jst words but actions ..openness of heart
