"GR"...that's local language ...short for Grand Rapids...where I grew up & so did Betty Ford ...more so than Gerald ..but for both of them its their hometown..where the presidential museum is..where they will both lie in rest together ..God be with them..thanks to Betty for being a fearless first lady & her efforts to help people overcome addiction ...I paid my last respect to gerald ford in rancho mirage, not grand rapids, since I am more often in southern cal, my other "hometown", than gr , these days ...& will try to make it to the funeral in rancho mirage (palm desert) on Tuesday (I also taught school in that area for a few years...its a hot place 'round this time of year...my car has no A/c but I will tough it out...) ...
