...see this often in donut shops around southern cal ..they put food on it to keep the god or gods happy... as a Christian I haven't discovered a way of reaching buddhists w/ the message of Christ ..at least not American buddhists ..when I was in Thailand, oddly enough, they were more receptive to the message of Christ... in a country where buddhism dominates the landscape ..many have never even heard of the Bible or Jesus Christ ..even soke of the buddhist temple leaders are not familiar with Christianity ..they are polite and receptive, but in America...I don't feel the receptivity to conversation..so pray for buddhists I America...by the way, some say buddhism is a philosophy more than a religion..somme say u can be Christian AND buddhist ..but if u put out an altar to a buddhist god or an "unknown god' ..and that god is not the god of abraham, isaac, & jacob, & the father of Jesus, then it is a false god in whom there is NO REAL HOPE ..I WANT to offer buddhists real hope, respectfully, ..
