just before midnight we circled the dark church with candles and thenn entered in to find the "tomb" empty and proclaimed "He's arisen!"..then we stood for the next two hours participating in the orthodox liturgy (which is almost non-stop on your feet; I just kept saying to myself, "If Jesus can hang all day on a cross and die, I can stand on my feet for a few houres or more." I just wished I had better standing/walking shoes.
