...funny it was actually "Mr. C" (Mr Cunningham) who they called "howie" on happy days...but it fits ron howard as well...and don't forget richie as "opie" in mayberry (andy griffith show)...he was just a toddler at that time..a child star..very important part of American tv & movie history..also American Graffiti ('73)...among others..later he got involved in directing ..I see ron howard as a "shining light" in hollywood history, not so much in terms of glamour, glitter, and awards (altho he's had his share) but a symbol of stability, class, and solid work ethic ...thanks for the memories ron..hope u keep showing up here & there ...how's ralph malph doing btw ? "I found my thrill...on blueberry hill..." how about leather tuscadero? what's she up to these days?
