...stunning ice cream news..for all rite-aid shoppers and fans of the ice-cream department..a pint which cost $1.99 for what seemed like FOREVER...has NOW gone up an ENTIRE DOLLAR to $2.99 ...! I've seen price changes here & there, by & by, but never So EXTREME...what's up rite-aid? what's up thrifty ? why is ice-cream suddenly SO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE ?! I could have bought a QUART of the pre-packed on sale for $2.50 or a pre-packed pint still for $1.99 ...Is that the point ? is it the labor that makes it more costly now ? oh well, I'll be buying the pre-packed stuff from now on ...
