...as Mahoney conducts his last mass as archbishop of Los Angeles & Jose Gomez steps in as new leader..pray for a good transition..God bless Mahoney & family for his years of dedication to the church..and to los angeles..this was a guy who dares walk around the neighborhood..he even did the animal blessing for Lola (my golden retriever).one year...I have a lot of love & respect for mahoney..good man, good heart..& we hope gomez will find a heart for L.A....as he comes from Texas (& orig. Mexico)..
