...funny we say Christmas mass ...when the word Christmas itself means Christ's mass .or mass of Christ.....so when we say "Christmas mass" we are saying Christ's mass mass ...and the word mass refers to death..which is celebrated...yes celebrated because we would not be saved without the death of Jesus..and thru the Eucharist the death is re-enacted at every mass ..but on Christmas we are mostly celebrating Jesus' birth ..nonetheless in the catholic church we still have consecration & communion ..so it is a mass ...and so as the pastor said today ...is true..Christmas is the beginning of Easter ...from birth to death. ..Jesus saves us ..again & again..
